WE DESIGN SPACES FOR YOU THAT LAST AND ARE SAFE AND HEALTHY FOR YOU AND OUR WORLD.
DESIGN WITH A CONSCIENCE
IS THIS YOU?
Are you tired of being frustrated with and ashamed of your home?
Do you want your home make you feel good, healthy, and comfortable?
Are you overwhelmed with options and not knowing where to start?
Do you care about our environment and want to do your part?
Did you know that poor designs and lousy construction actually affects our health adversely? Eek! Yeah, we don't want that either.
If you want your home to look good, be healthy, and work for your lifestyle, we can help you! We solve your design conundrums and problematic spaces through good design, listening to you, and creating solutions that support and work for you.
We take a holistic design view of your home and how you live to transform your old, frustrating house into a livable, beautiful, comfortable, healthy, and efficient home using the principles and methodologies of WELL and Passive House Standard.
Sampler of some of our projects
Your designer, Melinda, wants to make her clients lives better through good design and she wants to contribute to a healthier world through sustainable and healthy design. She believes we all deserve good design and our spaces should foster life, enjoyment, health, and beauty.
She was educated in interior design at Mount Royal, has been practicing interior designer in Calgary for over 20 years, is NCIDQ certified, and a member of both Interior Designers of Alberta and Interior Designers of Canada.
She has worked on a range of small to multi-million-dollar projects in residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, and health-care. Renovations are her love and she brings her passion to design better for the environment and our health.
She had big plans on becoming an architect after her education, but a life-altering car accident changed that trajectory. It brought into sharp focus how important good design is for our health and well-being, and how bad design affects us adversely. She lives with chronic pain and chooses to use her experiences to make her clients’ lives better through good design.
